When you are born, a woman, in a family of winemakers

When you are born, a woman, in a family of winemakers, you soon learn to lend a hand.
At the beginning it was preparing the table for those returning from the mountain: they sent me to the cellar to tap the wine, good, white and fresh, from the tub. It happened that they poured half a finger on me: smell, what do you hear? Do you like it? Come on, so you “make your nose”. Because you know, we are more sensitive to perfumes.
During the harvest I used to go up and down the vineyards to bring water and bread; the “brente” no, they weigh.
Over the years the company grows and grows. You study, you learn, you know. We begin to travel, to understand that the world does not end at the end of the row. Every new discovery that was made, was brought home and we thought about how to put it into practice “with us” .
Over the years you grow and the desire to make the company grow even more. The ideas, the stories, the investments to be made, the collaborations arrive. There also come times when you have to prove who you are, also because you are a woman, in the world of wine. A beautiful world, of company, with the glass half full, but to be enjoyed in small sips.
When you are born, a woman, into a family of winemakers, you soon learn to lend a hand.
In the end you represent that “from us” . Because you know, we are more sensitive to communicating, to going beyond.
When you are born, a woman, in a family of entrepreneurs, workers, artisans, unemployed people, lawyers… it always seems that you have to prove more.
In a world that runs to arrive first, to say first, to invent first, to create first, we remain with genuineness, the image of that “from us” , from which we were born.
