At the foot of the hill of Magnavacche, the new Tessari family winery, has been operational since 2007. It is an ideal combination of functionality and tradition. Modern and sophisticated features underline the attention to detail and carefully selected technologies allow to work in full respect of the grape and its characteristics.
Divided into three floors, the basement hosts all stages of production, from fermentation to commercialization.
On the ground floor is the area of the grapes collection, pressing and fermentation and winemaking tanks. The tanks are made entirely of steel and equipped with cooling plates which allow to control the temperature during all stages of the winemaking. Here we also bottle and storage.. The inner part, dug at the foot of the hill, allows us to keep wines at a constant temperature throughout the year. In the same area, we find a corner dedicated to older vintages, and the wine shop.
Going up the grand staircase, we pause to taste the wines and appreciate local products in an atmosphere of conviviality. The tasting room can accommodate up to 20 people with the possibility to organize events and dinners with our wine pairings.
The second floor finally is designed for the drying of grapes for the production of Recioto. A production that originates from the dehydration of bunches carefully selected in September and crushed in February. The layout allows a natural flow of air coming from the hill behind the building. The hall takes advantage of the natural air flows that are created between the plains and hills, providing a slow and completely natural withering
